We added SMS invitations to your online backend so you never miss a review opportunity. We heard your requests for more ways to invite your guests to review and we delivered. You can now invite your guests via email or SMS.

The feature enables you to optimize your returns by inviting via SMS those guests for whom you do not have an email address or vice versa: inviting via email those guests for whom you do not have a mobile number.

With this feature, your opportunity for reviews has increased. As we are constantly reminding you: More reviews leads to increased visibility, which brings more clicks, more bookings, and more revenue. Plus, this helps you acquire a review from guests who book without providing their email address. The SMS invitation feature, in combination with email invitations, maximizes your return rates per review invitation, which maximizes your booking and revenue potential.

Within your “Settings” follow these steps:

As we are so excited about the new feature, we decided to give every customer 25 free SMS for you to test the feature! So, to get started right away you can add a few guests with a mobile number and see your results before purchasing a package!

In order to invite guests via SMS, you must include their mobile phone number, including country code, during your guest import. If you do not do this, the guest will not be eligible for invitation via SMS and will be invited via email.

The SMS invitation feature, in combination with email invitations, maximizes your return rates per review invitation, which maximizes your booking and revenue potential.

How it works:

Within your “Settings” follow these steps:

  • Go to “Post-Stay”
  • Choose the primary channel from which you would like to invite guests: either email or SMS. By default, email is chosen.
  • Choose how to invite your guests based on their contact details that you have – email and/or mobile number.Note: when you choose SMS invitations as your primary channel, any guests added without a mobile number will be invited via email. This ensures you do not lose a review opportunity.
  • Select your SMS package, note these packages auto-renew when you’ve reached your limit and you will be invoiced to your main account. If you wish for your package to not auto-renew when you reach your limit, you can cancel auto-renewal easily via the ‘Cancel auto-renewal’ link in your “Settings”. Packages are priced per SMS and can be purchased in bulks of 100, 250, 500, or 1,000.
  • Navigate into each invitation tab to adjust the text of your SMS invitation
    We set a default text that is optimal for any user, but can be edited. You are allotted 140 characters in order to include the link to review within one SMS.
  • Start inviting!
