(Senior) Product Manager/ Product Owner (f/m)

What we’re looking for:

We are looking for a highly motivated product manager and enthusiastic team member to support our Product Team for shaping the future of an exciting product that has ambitious plans to shift and disrupt the online review market. You will be working with a very senior and highly skilled team of developers and designers using cutting edge technologies and development techniques

Your responsibilities:

Engage with the Head of Product in the mid/long-term product roadmap planning and execution processes

  • Collect Customer requirements from sales, customer care teams as well as directly from customers
  • Schedule their development via the internally developed Pandora Process

Manage the implementation of new features:

  • Understand and specify requirements/user-stories
  • Oversee UI designs, and their development into features
  • Decide on critical product issues

Bring business and technology closer:

  • Support the Sales and Customer Care teams in solving complex customer problems and in complex requirements and integrations

Product Communication:

  • Communicate newly released features using various materials: tutorials, training sessions, presentations
  • Manage a company newsletter to partners communicating new product features

Customer Learning & Team education:

  • Conduct user data analysis projects by studying product data
  • Manage user research projects with the UX and Customer Care teams
  • Educate the company on user behavior and new technologies

We expect:

  • 2+ years of experience in product management using Agile (Scrum, Kanban or other)
  • Hands on experience of writing, cutting down, briefing and reviewing user stories and the resulting features.
  • Eagerness and hunger to learn and achieve while being humble, open-minded and a strong leader
  • Fundamental understanding of the structure of technology products (web apps, mobile apps, etc.)
  • Good understanding of tech products & UI/UX design principles
  • Demonstrable experience in Project Management especially managing multiple projects in parallel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English
  • Good affinity to MS Office and project management tools
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong time management and expectations management capabilities in a demanding and fast paced environment
  • Strong sense of priorities while maintaining flexibility to adapt to market needs and make data-driven decisions

Nice to have:

  • Engineering/Computer Science/Information Systems Degree
  • Experience in a B2B SAAS Product company in post product launch and growth phases
  • Experience in the hospitality industry
  • Database querying knowledge/experience, preferably in MySQL
  • Software programming knowledge/experience in any language(s)
  • Strong MS Excel Skills
  • Prior knowledge/experience with JIRA or equivalent
  • Experience in AB-testing, Data Analytics, creating extensive reports
  • Any data analytics or data science education (self-education counts as well)
  • Good spoken and written command of the German language
