La datation exacte de ces grottes est estim\u00e9e entre 38,000 et 15,000 ans avant JC. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cela devient un peu plus concret \u00e0 Pompeii avec la d\u00e9couverte d\u2019un Lupanar, maison close datant de 69 avant JC. Cet endroit est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme la premi\u00e8re preuve d\u2019\u00e9tablissement h\u00f4telier pratiquant une tarification pour de l\u2019h\u00e9bergement. La premi\u00e8re v\u00e9ritable maison d\u2019h\u00f4te fait son apparition au Japon et on l\u2019estime au d\u00e9but du XVIIIe si\u00e8cle. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les \u00e9tablissements  <em>Nishiyama Onsen et Hoshi Ryokan<\/em> sont les premiers h\u00f4tels dans l\u2019histoire : 47 g\u00e9n\u00e9rations plus tard, ce dernier est toujours g\u00e9r\u00e9 par la m\u00eame famille. Il aura fallu un mill\u00e9naire de plus pour assister \u00e0 l\u2019ouverture du premier \u00e9tablissement portant le nom d\u2019h\u00f4tel. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Grand Hotel<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> ouvrit ses portes \u00e0 Londres le 25 janvier 1774.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De nos jours, il est bien difficile de savoir avec pr\u00e9cision combien il existe d\u2019h\u00f4tels (selon des estimations, on s\u2019accorde sur plus de 500,000).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Autre donn\u00e9e int\u00e9ressante, selon le <em>Guinness Book des Records<\/em>, le plus gros h\u00f4tel du monde est le  First World <em>Hotel &#038; Plaza \u00e0 Pahang<\/em> en Malaisie avec 7351 chambres.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De son c\u00f4t\u00e9, le <em>Ritz-Carlton \u00e0 Hong Kong<\/em> est l\u2019h\u00f4tel le plus haut du monde. L\u2019h\u00f4tel est situ\u00e9 entre le 102\u00e8me et le 118\u00e8me \u00e9tage du International Commerce Center et culmine \u00e0 484 m\u00e8tres d\u2019altitude. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Enfin, le record de la vente la plus ch\u00e8re d\u2019un h\u00f4tel revient au <em>Waldorf Astoria New York \u00e0 Manhattan<\/em>. L\u2019\u00e9tablissement a \u00e9t\u00e9 vendu \u00e0 Chinese Anbang Insurance Group pour 1,95 milliards de dollars en 2014.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Toujours mieux, toujours plus loin, toujours plus vite<\/h3>\n<h2>Voyager au XXe si\u00e8cle<\/h2>\n<p>Les d\u00e9veloppements technologiques, \u00e9conomiques et sociaux aux XIXe et XXe si\u00e8cles ont consid\u00e9rablement chang\u00e9 le visage de l\u2019h\u00f4tellerie. En effet, voyager n\u2019\u00e9tait d\u00e9sormais plus uniquement r\u00e9serv\u00e9 aux classes sup\u00e9rieures.
